about me
hi, i'm talia mann!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in eating disorders, trauma, and grief and loss in California. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychological Trauma from Antioch University. My clinical training began at Beit T’Shuvah, a residential addiction treatment center in Los Angeles, where I worked with individuals struggling with substance use.
As someone who has personally navigated eating disorder recovery, grief, and trauma, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work. I have provided psychotherapy, group therapy, and individualized care for adults and adolescents in eating disorder treatment settings, including PHP and IOP programs.
My approach integrates Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am a weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size, and anti-diet clinician, committed to addressing the impact of cultural values and systemic oppression on personal growth. I strive to create a non-judgmental, culturally sensitive space for healing.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and transformation. My goal is to foster a secure, nurturing, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported in exploring challenges and processing trauma. I am accepting new clients and would be honored to support you on your mental health journey.
